Lately around our neighborhood.

Nice family friendly hike close to Tegernsee. Lots of small little waterfalls and nice views over to Sylvensteinsee.

Quick visit to Oktoberfest with the kids. Checking out the rides and eating lots of candy.

Yesterday we kicked off the Ski season. After an early start and a peaceful drive through the still-dark streets of Munich, we arrived at Hochzillertal to find pretty good conditions for this time of the year. I took my camera in the small Bellroy sling onto the piste and tried to get some shots during the day. Of course, we couldn’t resist indulging in some delicious Austrian food! I also tried to get some action shots. But it wasn’t easy getting it right quickly while skiing....

Despite the really bad weather last Sunday (rain and cold) we went to a Christmas market and enjoyed some perfect Flammlachs.
